street art in seoul
Sunday, December 14th, 2008i was suprised that there wasn’t really any graffiti in seoul, especially for a city of 10,000,000 people. and seoul is a pretty clean city, no trash anywhere. i did see some graffiti and street art though, mostly around Hongdae and Sinchon. Hongdae University is a big art school in Seoul and every Saturday, students sell their art and fashion stuff in a small park near the campus. it’s called Free Market, and apparently they sell cool stuff. i wouldn’t know because they day i went to Free Market, it was raining and no one was selling anything. well, here are some street art pics from Hongdae and Sinchon.

this is not really street art. i saw this at a stand for a portrait artist. i thought it was weird to be selling a portrait of hitler, and weirder to put it next to a portrait of the pope.
